Letters will be sent to the miscellaneous League Heads to attend our March 2026 meeting.

Jason met with a man about using his snowmobile on the path to make it more walkable in the winter snow. His work crews for the season will arrive April 1.  There are weeds on the baseball field/diamond. Ed will talk with Innovative Companies about the field.

Website – Chris Domonkos needs any additional information for our calendar.  He is set to accept the minutes that will then be posted on our website.

Up for renewals:  Chris Domonkos, Linda Palchick, and Sara Sustin.

Pickle Ball – Kristen Foerster received a quote on fencing from On the Fence (Barry used them for Chester Pickle Ball courts). 2 60x60 cement pads for 2 courts.; 5 ft. divider 8’ gauge fence, Blacktop = $14, 439.00. Ed Curtis suggested maybe the Pickleball courts should be placed up front in the park (present upper soccer field).  This would eliminate the issue of the courts being built on the present volleyball court and being 100 ft. from the river. Barry Levan from Chesterland said if the courts were built where the present volleyball courts are there would be a visible concern.  Board discussion that the only Tennis Court at the WG High School is in terrible condition and can’t be used.  The team plays their games at CVAC; cost is $10.00 fee/player. The tennis courts report will be discussed at the Superintendent’s meeting.  Questions if Booster Club and Kiwanis Club can help with possible fundraising for this possible project.  Sara Sustin stated that 1 tennis court is 2 pickle ball courts in size.  Can this new area then be used by both pickleball and tennis; using 2 different nets.  Much discussion is still needed.

Linda Palchick motioned for meeting adjournment at 7:45 pm.  Ed Curtis seconded.  Vote was taken: Ed Curtis, yes; Rick Izant, yes; Sara Sustin, yes; Linda Palchick, yes; Kristen Foerster, yes; Greg Poe, yes.  All in favor, motion carried. Next meeting at WG High school library on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:00 pm

Respectfully submitted,
